Title: Update
Hello candle friends! It feels like it has been forever and I am so out of touch! I have gotten so many wonderful messages and kind thoughts, thank you all so much. As soon as I finish this blog I intend on sending out a newsletter to explain where I have been lately. As it turns out, our house is still not finished, although we are close! I am pretty unsure about re-opening and when, partially due to the fact that I am currently 6 months pregnant. :) I am thrilled about starting a family and realizing how much of a change I am in store for. Unfortunately, right now my candle business is just "on hold". We need to get our house back in order and my candle room in better shape and then considering how I feel, I may re-open while I am on maternity leave. My timing is pretty iffy because our daughter is due Sept. 28th and that is just the start of the busy holiday season. We now have internet back again at home so I am going to do much better keeping in touch and letting my wonderful customers know what is going on in my world. Thanks again for all the support you have given me through emails, it means so much to me! I hope to open again and blow you all away! :) -Lee Ann

Hello wonderful customers! I am very sad to say I have had to temporarily shut down the candle making business. Our house is still under major construction and my candle room has now become a storage room for all the things that can't stay in the other rooms. I have tried to manage and stay open, but lately it is just overwhelming and I don't want any customers to suffer. This is such bad timing considering the holidays are coming up, but I am hopeful that things will work themselves out and I will be able to re-open sometime in November. Cross your fingers for me! I appreciate everyone who has been understanding lately with the delay in getting your orders. I still will communicate through email, so please feel free to write to me! This is not a permanant thing, I promise! I hope everyone understands and again, please feel free to email me anytime. Thanks for always being supportive! Lee Ann

Title: Shipping Times
Hello! First I would like to say thank you for taking the time to read this and I hope I can prevent any confusion this way. My candle business is a night and weekend sort of job for me, I work full time M-F. (One day I hope it will be my full time job!!) I try really hard to get the orders together and shipped out as quickly as possible. I am just as anxious for you to get the order as I hope you are. :) I do everything out of my home as far as the candles go, and my fiance and I have started pretty major construction on an addition to our house. I know it will be worth it in the end, but right now I am just ready to see the results of our hard work. LOL So, the point I am trying to get at is there might be a slight delay in communication with me and the shipment of your order. I will check my emails at work if my internet is not functioning at home and I can assure you I WILL email you back! I just wanted to let everyone know I am not a big slacker when it comes to emailing back, just might be a little slow for a few months. I considered closing things down until it's all finished, but I just can't do that. I really don't think it will be a major problem for long and it's very possible the orders will continue to ship as they are now. I just wanted to assure my wonderful customers that I value you all and will make every effort to get your order out ASAP. I don't imagine orders will take any longer than 3-5 business days to ship from the time the order is placed. I promise if anything comes up I will contact you and keep you informed. Sorry this was so long, but thanks again for reading! I hope you will still place an order with me!
